Upcoming Nike Dunk Low SB ” Melbourne Dunk” aka “Gold Rail Dunk”

These are officially called the Melbourne Dunk or the Melbourne ‘Gold Rail’ Dunk.

They are on one of the covers of the new issue of Sneakerfreaker Magazine (#13), which is a mag made in Melbourne. it says Melbourne ‘Gold Rail’ Dunk on the cover.

The article inside says this:

“Melbourne Dunk SB

Residents of our hometown Melbourne know all about Flinders Street Station. People have been meeting under the train station’s clocks since before time began, and now we have a Dunk to honour the famous skate spot with the gold rail.

The shoe features canvas, suede and mesh, with the varsity royal blue apparently inspired by Port Phillip Bay and the brown midsole chosen to represent the turdish Yarra River that winds its wiggly way through our magnificent city.

Simple but eye-catching, it will be available in October 08 at all great skate stores.

Like the Homer Dunk, this is one SB Melburnians can call our own!”

Marty McFly Hyper Dunks, Dub’d “McFly 2015’s” Releasing Late July

“It appears that an inspired-by version of the Official Shoes of Wired’s Gadget Lab, the Nike McFly 2015’s, will be made available by the end of July and will be renamed as the Nike Hyperdunks. I know what you’re thinking (Chicken, McFly!), but get a hold of yourself. They won’t include the awesome air-pressurized auto-lacing mechanism from Back to the Future II.

Nike SB ‘Trickstar’ Pack and BMX products

Pictures of the Dunk Lows have been lurking on the internet for a while now, surrounded by the to-be-expected speculation. However, it has been revealed that they are part of the Nike SB ‘Trickstar’ pack to celebrate the inclusion of BMX in the forthcoming Bejing Olympics.

Also in the pack is a pair of Blazer SBs in a more toned-down version of the black and gold colourway with monogram stars on the upper.

Despite the Dunk being supposedly limited to 600 pairs, the pack will be released around the world towards the end of July. However, those in LA (not New York, sorry) will (may) get the chance to grab a pair early at the official launch party for the Nike BMX product range at Brooklyn Projects on June 27th, held in conjunction with Freestylin’ magazine.

The footwear range also includes the Michael Lau Blazer and Kuwahara Dunk Low, while the clothing includes a cap, hoodie and long- and short-sleeved t-shirts.

DQM Blazer

After the teaser pics posted on the DQM product blog, Sneaker Freaker has revealed an exclusive picture of the DQM collaboration Blazer. The shoe also adorns the cover of the latest issue of the Sneaker Freaker mag, available now with a free poster.
No big pics of the other colourway have surfaced yet, save for those of Jay-Z rocking them.
And no, before you ask, no word on the release date yet but they will be a tier zero release.
